I need sponsors. If any of my very few (if any) followers would like to sponsor me, you are helping raise money for charity and paying to see me put in the middle of goodness knows where…what’s not to like?

crap version, i hate you iTunes why don’t you transfer from iPods as well as to them?

Are you hurting? Pray. Do you feel great? Sing. Are you sick? Call the church leaders together to pray and anoint you with oil in the name of the Master. Believing prayer will heal you, and Jesus will put you on your feet. And if you’ve sinned, you’ll be forgiven - healed inside and out.

Bye Home

I touched down in Loughborough almost two weeks ago. It has been go go go here. Clubbing, lectures, societies with a bit of liquor thrown in now and again. I am just starting to settle in and catch up on sleep. I miss home so much, it aches, but that’s life.

I have decided against attending the pimps and hoes party despite unashamedly having an outfit. I just came home from my first CU meeting, I wouldn’t want to taint any of my holiness right now.

Many of my friends back home will be interested to know (i.e. laugh at me) that my seminars so far have involved drawing circles and alphabets free-hand for two hours and today, spacing the letters in the work ‘railway’ by eye otherwise known as kerning. FUN.

I have met some amazing people. There are three other christians in my block that I know of, which is a huge blessing and answer to prayer. I can feel God saying that something big is going to happen in my life here at Lough. I feel a call to serve people when they are in trouble on nights out. God has broken my heart for these people who are lost. Just seeing girls break down in the street or passed out in toilets makes me think God has a plan for me to help in some way. Funnily enough, the church I went to this Sunday has an initiative called club mission who does just that.

I can see that soon, I will be happy here. It has been the toughest couple of weeks but many mistakes later, I am ready to face these three/four years.

Onwards and upwards

Loughborough uni is tomorrow’s destination. I am about to join the clan of crazy people who call themselves students, drink too much and upload photos of themselves looking like sluts and completely wasted… whoopee!

About:

Cue the formulaic description of myself - what's your name and where do you come from?

I am 19 for now. I live in Eastbourne, yes heaven or indeed hell's waiting room. But that's not my home. Lewes is where I belong, I love all its small town quirks and resistance to change, somehow I take it as quaint. My church, Southover is the reason I am still here, its a giant family. God has done some wonderful things for me during my time there.

Now I am off to persue Graphics at Loughborough, I have no idea what this will lead to, just fingers crossed I don't stay stacking shelves all my life!

I will be back Lewes
